Fox ATS install/assembly question

Maybe a silly question, but the mount plate that comes with it seems like it should "press on" and sit flush with the end on the shock, but it doesn't. Is this correct?

Nice piece of hardware, just seemed like an odd assembly if so.

Thanks, It ultimately did sit flush once snugged down.

But man I am pissed - the bracket is off by at least 1/32" so much so that the bottom right bolt will not thread.... no matter what.

Emails in to Fox and Northridge.

Also feeling a little regretful I didn't buy the tie rod mountable version since it feels like 10lbs of poo in a 5lb bag under there, but I do think all will clear OK.

I had to drill my bracket out as well to make it fit, pm me, I may be able to find my tie rod mount for the stock location, you pay shipping and I'll send it since I'm on a big tie rod.

Wild about the mount. Expensive product and great quality with a pretty shoddy mount.

I had to adjust my mount as well. I ended up making my own setup with a Synergy JK track bar mounting stud and clamp to position it above the tie rod. That's alot of money to have hanging low trying to plow rocks......
