I've had the fox ATS steering stabilizer for about a week, which has been great. I was doing some maintenance and noticed the o ring in the mount is sticking out. It even rubs on the rod on full turn on one side making a slight squeak. Has anyone else experienced this? Wondering if I should contact Fox. Not sure if I should leave it or change the mount or just the o rings.

It is just a o-ring to keep dirt out of the heim joint. You can try to push it back in place.

I would check and be sure that bolt is tight to specs, might be best to loosen it up get O ring back in then tighten it…..Jack

I have the same stabilizer, I would check that’s it’s torqued down well enough, I have had mine come loose before. But like someone previously mentioned, that is just a dust shield and I’ve noticed it’s a bit oversized and if you don’t get it just right under the bolt, it will sit like that or just wiggle its way out after a while.

Ya I was thinking it's just a dust seal. I'll remove and reseat. Not thrilled with the way the way fox made the mounting method.

Mine came out and now my ATS is part of the Anza Desert, somewhere.

I have the same one. Wife complained that she got a dose of front end wobble. Not bad, but I checked all the steering parts and found that the same bolt in this thread had come loose. Pulled the whole stabilizer out, used some loctite and tightened it. Reinstalled and no problem since. And that was about 5 months ago.
