Freedom panel hinge kit

I can not imagine going down the road with the panels flipped back on the roof. That does not look good at all.

Two reasons I didn't go with them. It's a permanent install and exposing my hardtop headliners to bird crap.

To me this is a solution looking for a problem. The panels are effortless to remove/install and storing them is hardly any issue. Jeep even gives you a fancy bag to put them in. I've never heard of anyone say "Man these panels are a pain in the ass I wish I could just flip them backwards."

Ghetto hard top sun rider.........????? The hard panels aren't so much better than a sunrider to justify something like this(IMO). I swap between them for winter. It's 6 bolts and maybe 15 mins(after you do it once). That also has to sound horrible running open with the wind noise.

I saw these at sema and instantly thought about purchasing them, but for 400 bucks I could do so many other mods I’d prefer more or even get a sunrider from offer up at that price. As some others mentioned above the sound is probably bad enough that I would regret doing it and there’s no going back once you install them. I’d just go for a sunrider if you really feel like the freedom panels are too much of a hassle. Also the gladiator has a truck bed so it way easier to just throw them in the bag put it in the bed and go.
