Front end creak

Hello all,

I have a 2022 JT max tow with no suspension mods and 5,000 miles.

When I brake I get a creaking noise from the drivers side front. When I take my foot off the brake and begin to accelerate I get a creaking noise. Also, it happens sometimes while turning.

It is currently at the dealer where they have torqued and tightened everything and have a front body mount on order which is 5 days out. The tech is unsure that the new body mount will fix it.

Has anyone had a similar issue? Any ideas?

I had something similar on another car, it ended up being a cracked lower control arm.

Yeah I have something similar, driver front side. when I accelerate sometimes I get a low pop noise. It does have a leveling kit

I have a creak/squeak that comes from the rear suspension from time to time. Only have max tow springs in the rear, Rubicon springs in the front and 1" Teraflex front level. It hasn't really worried me at this point.

Creaking is traced to something being out of torque spec most of the time...

The creak/squeak is gone!

2022 Max-tow Sport S 6300 miles. No suspension mods. No off roading, regular driving only.

Just got my baby back from the dealer. They tightened and torqued everything and the creak/squeak was still there. They listened again, called Jeep for a consult and ordered up and installed a left body mount. Success!!!
My steering was good before, but now is excellent.

I wonder how changing a body mount would impact your steering. Do you have the part number for the body mount that they replaced?

Before they discovered the body mount they tightened and torqed everything.

My man, do you happen to know what bushing exactly was changed ? I have this horrible sound going on, mind you I am a service writer at a Chrysler dealer … but nobody can seem to pinpoint the issue and I’m sure it’s one of the body mounts.
