Hi folks - I'm a new member and looking to get a front facing camera for my JT. With the 8.4 screen, what unit do you have? Would you buy the same one again? And, were there any other ads needed to support the camera module? Thanks!

Depends on which way you want to go. Do you want to go OEM with the grid lines or just want a front facing camera? If you just want a front facing camera a cheaper option would probably be the tazer route:

Tazer JL Mini

JT Front Camera

SGW Extension Cables (Optional but very handy)

If you want to go the OEM route you would need a lot more and it costs roughly $1000 for everything. Here is the write up on it:

HOW TO: Add Factory Front Trail Camera to Gladiator (DIY Writeup) - 3.6l Gas

Mopar Trail Cam DIY Installation - 3.0L Diesel

If you decide you can go without having on the 8.4 screen you could go with this:

WOLFBOX G900 TriPro Bumper Version

Many thanks for the good detail on both routes, MaximusTX! I was thinking about the Tazer, as well, as I see some slightly larger tires than the stock "33's" in the future.

No problem. I would use JSCAN to change tire size as it stays permanently until you change it again. If you use the Tazer the settings get removed every time you unmarry the tazer to go the dealer or update the firmware etc.

I went the Tazer route and would not again tbh. The camera quality is much lower than OEM to the point its annoying. The back up cam looks so much better in comparison. I dont really even use it now, its no help while crawling, its best use is for parking in the garage.

You need to buy a Tazer mini to accommodate your mods. Helps with tire size changes and many other changes.
OR, AlfaOBD OR JSCAN
Either of those can change tire sizes, gear ratios, changing lighting settings (LED, etc.) and so on.
