I am wanting to install 2 rear facing back up flood lights on the back of my rack which sits on top of a RSI Smartcap.
The wires will eventually end up at a Voswitch JL300 which will be mounted under the hood.
Does anyone have any experience with this set up?
How do I get the wires from the mounted lights to the Voswitch as clean as possible?

In a similar situation. Have 2 small BD flood lights I want to mount at the top of my JCR bedrack basket. Havent decided to run the wiring to my 4th aux wire in the cab or under the hood.
Either way, running the wires from the lights to the front to make it look clean has been a headscratcher.

I'm getting an Alu-cab shortly and plan on doing the same with an spod. I am looking at 2 options:

Drill a hole or use existing drain hole to run cabling out of the bed and under the cab to the front. not sure I like this option as if/when i ever have to pull the cap off for some reason I'll have some length of cables coiled up in the bed, which might get damaged.

I think the option I am likely going for is probably using one or 2 of these through the front wall of the cap (in between the cap and rear window of the Gladiator), depending on how much cabling i need to run: https://www.amazon.com/BougeRV-Double-Waterproof-housing-Roofs(White)/dp/B08GL6WY2Z/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=3M0VCMSDK28SD&keywords=solar+roof+penetration&qid=1647639005&sprefix=solar+roof+pene,aps,67&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzQlpaQU9PT1hOUFAmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA5NDk5NjYzMlMzWjBXSVk5VzFFJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAwNDM0ODcxMU00WTFCTjdaRDNUJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

To be honest, I'd probably go with the first option if I was reasonably sure i wouldn't ever want to pull off the cap.. There are other ways to do this, but ultimately it comes down to going through the bed or the cap..

I suppose depending how you wired things you could keep all the wiring on the outside of the cap, but unless you have a rack or some other way to secure the wiring i don't think that would really work well.

I’m wiring four switched wires to my bed this weekend from my Voswitch, I am planning on running a cord with four wires from Voswitch box under hood to a PVC outlet box mounted at rear of bed, I will have to drill a hole for cord connector to come through bed. Getting wires up to roof on RSI would be best to go through your pressure vent in roof then right to rack….Jack

There's already a hole in the bed that can be used to run wire through. It's near the bed light. I put a quick disconnect on the wire I pulled through for the lights inside the cap. There may be a few other holes available, look near the tie-down in each corner.
