Can anyone explain to me what side effects may be created by the front lower control arms being angled down, slightly toward the ground, toward the rear of the truck?

I added a set of geometry correction brackets and now the arms are not level.

More info needed and a pic would help. Which geo brackets? How much lift are you running? Are your CA adjustable?

More caster.

Geo brackets usually have a minimum lift height requirement for them (AEV has you measure from spring perch to frame distance. That being said, i'm at the very low end of the requirement and mine seem to also be angled down, just slightly, like yours. I've experienced no ill effects from it. Ride on!

The issue I think I'm getting as a result of the angle of the LCAs is that my tires are cupping. I installed them right after I got my KO2s and they tires were cupped so badley after 30k miles that Discount Tire replaced them under warranty. I went with Falken AT3Ws and after 15k miles, they are cupped so badley I'm having to replace them too. Just the front tires. The rear tires are fine.

I don’t think it’s because of the brackets. Cupping is usually caused by worn suspension parts or tire/wheel issues. I’d be looking at shock absorbers or other suspension components, not the increased caster.

also, how often do you rotate your tires? You said 15k miles and the fronts are already cupped but the rears are fine. To me that sounds like you haven’t rotated the falkens at all. I would’ve already rotated them twice and would be coming up on a third rotation at 15k miles.

The shocks were new when I added the KO2s and now I have another new set of shocks. I rotated the KO2s every 3-4k miles and all four of them cupped...I haven't rotated the Falkens at all and only the fronts are cupping so I'm convinced there's something in the front end causing it...I just can't think of anything to blame other than the LCA angles because everything else in the front end has been upgraded and inspected.

I have a vibration that feels more like a wobble(not death wobble) that sets in over 60 and gets worse with more speed.

I've balanced these wheels and tires a few times with no luck. I did a few different types of balancing at multiple shops with no change.

I've got the same thing going on. Lifted mine (2.5 inch all spring lift) 6 months ago and it's been getting slowly worse. I had my first full on death wobble today doing 60. 42K on the odometer and stock control arms. I've also balanced my 35 inch KO2s twice. Today they were balanced with significantly less weight than previous.

I've got Evo's geometry correction brackets on the way to hopefully fix mine.

They will definitely make the truck ride better. I do t care what any person or company says, the front lower arms the most important arms to address in the front.
