Has anyone attempted to create a hybrid top using a hard top rear section and the full sunrider soft top? I've got both tops and am tempted to start cutting away but want to see if anyone else has before I get started. I'll attach pictures of what I'm going for.

What are you hoping to accomplish with this? Wouldn't you still end up with the man bun but without being able to remove the rear window?

I didn't think the sunrider has the full manbun look of the stock soft top, it rolls up fairly tight in comparison? Unless I'm thinking of a different one.

I've had the soft top on for two weeks and my Jeep was already broken into. So increased security is the main reason. I'm also going to reduce the buffeting and pops that happen on the road. I also want the full open to for all 4 seats.

The rear window will be much harder to remove but still removable. An ideally I'll be able to put it in the bed once I sort out the door surrounds.

Both soft tops are made by bestop so the full soft top opening is also called a sunrider not just the one that goes up front in place of the freedom panels (sunrider for hard top). I didn't like the amount of the opening the sunrider for hardtop takes up either
