I purchased a mildly used 2021 JT Willys that was white in color with the paint still in great condition but I really wanted a different color. (It was what was available and could afford at the time). I am now considering a color change and a full wrap is quite a bit less expensive than a paint job. I would possibly like a Hunter Green. I would like to see if anyone else has done this and found how it wears with off road use.

A buddy of mine had his 2500 Chevy done in a flat blue color. It faired pretty good overall. Much like paint it will get chipped. But the difference is it will start to peel off in that area. But I would think with all the different panels on our gladiators that if that happens you could just get it changed out?

I think you would be right about the panels being easy to replace the wrap. Another thing I like about the wrap is that they basically print the exact color / shade / finish you like on the wrap.

Look into vvivid color fusion. Newest technology and is thicker and lasts twice as long

I know nothing about it….but had seen a Porsche Cayenne with a LIQUID WRAP. Pretty impressive to look at it.

Just something else to look into. As if you didn’t have enough to research.
Good Luck!

Some ppl I used wheel with had one Jeep wrapped and complained that on tight trails with sharp branches they had a few cuts in the wrap. I can't say anything about the quality of their wrap but the same trails sure did a number on my paint.

I did my own wrap on my jeep with absolutely zero experience. I subscribed to CK wraps forum for help and he was very responsive and even had a gladiator that he does tutorials with. If I hadn’t already started the wrap that I had already committed too, I would have went with this color fusion material. Like I mentioned above…it’s thicker, SELF HEALING for when we get those Arizona pinstripes, and last twice as long. I’ll leave a link to the product as well as a quick description. lol and maybe a picture of my rig to show how it looks now

I think this would be great but I checked it out and the color selections at this time are a bit limited. I think the liquid wrap would be good for me.

Wrap last 4 yrs at best and if you don't get the top quality vinyl you will trash your paint

Yes, I did see that the liquid wrap does not last as long as the others but the price is such that in 4 years, should you still have the vehicle, redoing it would be fairly affordable.

I ordered a couple pieces of the white from that vivid Canada. Matte white, and the carbon white. Just to play around with. 5ft by 3ft. I wanted to try a piece on my hood and grill.
We’ll see.
