Hey everyone so I recently bought a Jeep gladiator and it has 5.13 gears in it but I’m not sure when the gears were put in and the truck only has 8700 miles so not sure if the gear oil was ever changed after putting the new gears in so I’m going to change the oil should I use the regular weight 75-90 or something different since it has the 5.13’s?

The gear ratio doesnt matter as far as the weight of the oil. The difference would be if it has a limited slip or if you tow a lot.

Owners manual for the weight.
99.99% gear oil was changed when gear swap was performed. Go ahead and change it, will not hurt at all. Use the drain time to inspect for "stripper glitter" in the fluid.

While not stated in the owners manual, Chrysler Tech Authority does state 75W-140 can be used if towing. Also, Dana spec sheets for their aftermarket sold Advantek axles also call out a 75W-140 grade.

Rubicon's don't have LSD, they have a rear locker. If you tow, wheel, or live in a hot climate I'd go 75w140.

Do I need to add the friction additive since I have lockers?

No, electric lockers do not get the friction additive.

It also won't hurt it if it does get the friction modifiers, some gear oils like royal purple just include it
