I hate ads and if I start getting any on my JTR its will be gone. I still get emails for a 2015 Grand Cherokee SRT I had about services and I cannot get rid of them even though I have contacted the dealers sending the notifications and Uconnect

Mine’s also a ‘21. It may have something to do with using their connected services. I’ve used the SiriusXM services and the Mopar site to schedule maintenance, etc. Maybe that “opted me in”. I also don’t have an extended warranty and my BTB expired. Perhaps if you get an extended warranty it shows up and they won’t harass you. I have mechanical breakdown via Geico, so I didn’t opt for the extended warranty. It can also be credit, income, demographics, location based, etc. I’m sure they take all sorts of things into consideration, including state laws into account when they decide to show these ads in your face or not. Every company creates customer profiles now. It’s a brave new world.

I only used it to schedule service once. I don’t recommend it. However, I haven’t been able to get a service writer on the phone but about 10% of the time at 4 different dealerships since I’ve owned this truck and they rarely return phone calls. The online portal might work better nowadays. I usually have to drive to the dealership and make appointments in person which is nuts. My last service writer just started giving people her personal cell number so we could text her. These car dealerships all seem to have jacked up phone systems and crap customer service now.

My never did do that not even as the warranty was about to expire. Totally weird. Huh. Maybe if your in a more metro area they spam you. ?

So, I take it if you had the base sport without the larger touchscreen and the jeep carefully tracking all that you/we do... not only we wouldn't be tracked, but we wouldn't be 'pushed' Peace of Mind messages--- we'd instead, be left in peace....

they should have put that on the window sticker of the base sports... 'guaranteed peaceful bliss'
