I just replaced my EGR valve. What would the next step in the process be? Do I have to get the truck to relearn the new valve or clear the code and leave it?
There is a function on my Mucar CDE900 Pro scan/diagnostic tool that has a recalibration of the EGR valve and it says to do that only with a new valve. When I did that, it set the valve back to “0”, when I selected that function , there was an audible CLICK of the valve and that was it.

When I had the plenum off to do injectors, Coil Packs and plugs I took EGR completely off and cleaned it out with Non-chorinated brake cleaner . And it has been doing fine. Also clean3d throttle body and opened the flap as you suggested to get it thoroughly clean. ( did a calibration after it was reassemble and all has been well on that also.
