Getting Rear Ended - 3 Times

Just wondering if any Gladiator owners are getting rear ended more than usual. I have never been rear ended, until I got my Mojave and since then have I been rear ended 3 times at stop light. Never any damage to the truck (maybe towing package reinforcement?) but considerable damage to the car that hit me. Just wondered if this is just me, or a "thing" for Gladiators.

Been in two rear end event at a stop light. Once in my 2019 Tacoma and once in my 2022 Gladiator. Both times I had a "SPAREBUMPER" hitch device designed specifically for this type of incident. Save me with no damage to my vehicles but put a hurt on the two that tapped me.

I have a ZAutomotive Tazer and have programmed my third brake light to flash two times before solid when I step on the brakes - they call it pulse feature. Seems to get everyone’s attention… knock on wood.

Never been rear ended. They will need a tow truck and they know it.

I've seen this one or one like it and I want one. What's the make, and how much length does it add to the vehicle? (My Gladiator barely fits in the garage as it is.)

Amber sequential signal indicators!!
Generally speaking… I really do feel red signal indicators are/tend to be problematic and should always be amber. Tinted tail lights… gtfo.
BRIGHT AF reverse light too!

I said this previously… that LEDs do weird things on camera and as far as I am concerned… the red actually does match the tail lights FAR BETTER than this photo shows. Nearly perfect, if not perfectly. They are just different designs of LEDs (tubes vs. bulbs) I am just saying.

I wouldn't think that color would blend in. My mom had an Acura Legend that was green back in the 90s that was rear-ended three times. We always thought the color was the reason.

I passed a car on the way home where the driver was holding his phone in center of steering wheel watching a video while driving down a four-lane highway. Lately had to sit behind cars at traffic lights where the front car never notices the signal turns green then back to red.
Phones.

Looks like your 3rd brake light is out, on the tailgate. I like the light strip. I may get one of those.
