Getting Rear Ended - 3 Times

Almost had a rear end collision at 45mph, when my Oracle flush mount Tail Light failed. I was turning left to go home, when it happened. You know how the brake lamp goes out to accommodate the turn signal....well the right side brake light failed completely...as I was turning Left.
I when I got home, I checked my tail lights, because this all seemed odd. I notified Oracle right away. They were very friendly, very good to deal with, and after sending a video of the lights in actin, they sent a replacement. I have read somewhere recently (maybe here?) that they had a bad batch, and have corrected/cleared them up.
However after seeing that drivers face in my rear view mirror, I decided to go back to the stock tail lamps! He swerved to miss me all right, but it is still took away my trust in aftermarket tail lights.

Just wondering if any Gladiator owners are getting rear ended more than usual. I have never been rear ended, until I got my Mojave and since then have I been rear ended 3 times at stop light. Never any damage to the truck (maybe towing package reinforcement?) but considerable damage to the car that hit me. Just wondered if this is just me, or a "thing" for Gladiators.

Never in my Gladiator but got rear ended in my Grand Cherokee Trailhawk by a Texas State Trouper... and no before you ask he was not trying to pit me. Trailer ball tore up his vehicle... lol

Just wondering, did they self report the accident of call another jurisdiction police department to write it up?

Sely reported... He was the local Desk sargent in his big black suburban. He seemed real flustered... lol

My Gladiator is the first vehicle I’ve had someone rear end me in while I was sitting stopped at a traffic light. Moron on his cell phone and without insurance. Good news is that I just needed a new tow hook while he had his car totaled.
