Gladiator bed same Dims as other trucks? Wondering if used Truck Caps are out there & will fit

The subject line says it all... Are there already truck caps out there that will fit a Gladiator? Or did the aftermarket have to make a new cap to fit the Gladiator?

Thanks! Just wondering if it's worth my time to find a used cap (from a Ranger, S10, Colorado, Dakota, whatever) out there to put on my Gladiator.

Here are more accurate bed dimensions. I think Tacoma Double Cab beds are close in size but not sure if they fit.

This is going to depend heavily on the truck cap in question. Some can fit multiple different vehicles, others are not as tolerant of variations.

I’ve found Usually the bed rails are different. Even my Chevy 3500 will only fit it specifically. It is 8’ and a dually. I thought I could get a cover off any 8’ bed, but the rails are wider and have a lip.

I have cover on my s-10 that’s a service truck cover. It doesn’t line up perfectly but fits well enough for what it is. You might be able to make something work but you may have to sacrifice how it looks.

1st gen Colorado/Canyon crew cab short bed is Very close. I have seen a fiberglass one also a commercial one mounted on a JT from posts on this forum.

Also several posts show tonneu covers from colorados on galdiators. i have a soft rollup tonneu that was marketed as the colorado and was $80 less than the one they marketed as the gladiator. fit fine for my purposes.

don't know that i would risk spending several thousand on a bed cap that doesn't fit right though.
