Hilarious to watch a bunch of people who paid at least 40k for these things insist they're not good enough to buy and need total redesigns because they don't work at all and they would never buy one slightly different from the one in their driveway.
I'm sure the folks that buy a new Jeep every 2-3 years love it, and folks considering a Jeep may see the perfect package for them pop up, and jump on it. I think a few folks on this forum meet that criteria, and have been through 2 or 3 Gladiators since I've gotten my one.

So - I don't hate what Jeep is doing - I'm just not holding my breath on anything that's going to make me buy another Gladiator in the near term. A wider touch screen in 2024 and moving the option peas around on the plate ever since isn't what I'm looking for - and that's fine. Plenty folks have dumped their pre '24s for a '24 or newer because of little option nuances and updated packages.

My current truck does everything it needs to do under acceptable terms.

But,

A little more power might do it. Doesn't have to be a V8. I don't hate the Pentastar, either, though.

A bed that can hold a sheet of plywood flat between the wheel wells might do it - pretty sure that's a task most/all new midsize trucks can handle aside from the Gladiator.

Drag links that don't fall apart under a stock truck in 36K miles might do it. Hell, you can put IFS under it for all I care. That ought to get me crucified here 😂 I'm partially joking. The SFA is fine.

Given the limited interior space - go ahead and give me more storage in the console area and put in an electric parking brake actuator and electric transfer case shift, so I have more room for my water bottle, coffee cup, two cell phones, and note pad. Shoot that may actually be worth upgrading for...

And if not I may just outgrow the truck at some point and move on to something else entirely, but from a "its not you - it's me" perspective.

But I'm going to toss my meaningless opinion onto the internet like anyone else, because it's slow this morning and this is how I am spending my time between emails 😂

I'm just saying, the griping, from people who already bought one, about how it's not good enough... And they tend to be the same people who will fight you to the death if you point out any shortcoming, ironic.

Hah. For sure.

I'm a little different.

Sometimes I low key think my truck is one of the bigger piles of shit I've ever bought, and I'll happily tell anyone what I don't like about it.

Then I go for an all day drive and it handles all my day to day business just right, and I'm like oh it's fine.

Like an abusive relationship I tell ya 😂 The toxicity keeps you coming.

My Gladiator was my wifes choice, and she's the primary driver and owner of it.

Left to my own devices, I would have bought the Bronco, but she didn't like the interior.

Only reason Gladiator was on the table for us, is because we don't need it to be a truck at all.

Nevertheless, the irony of the same people who tell you it's vehicular perfection on earth, then screaming adding a different set of stickers than theirs isn't good enough, pretty sweet.

3 minutes until the drop... so we shall see what the production model really has included!
