So.....has anyone got the "service airbag system" only when the parking lights or headlights are on. Also it generally takes 4-5 miles after start-up to light this message. Does this sound like a can bus issue,i replaced the front left impact sensor as the result of a specific code.....but no luck . Please help

Are you getting any other fault codes? Do you have any aftermarket electrical parts installed?

I do see on the wiring diagrams that the Occupant Restraint Control Module and both tail lamp assemblies get power from Run Relay 1 when it's energised, the ORCM via fuse 49 and the tail lamps via fuse 61. Maybe a fault with the wiring or a tail lamp is pulling voltage down to the ORCM and causing a fault when the parking lights are switched on.

I would suspect the ESS battery, I’m seeing all kinds of warnings that disappear when I charge the battery. My battery will be replaced this week, guessing it’s the original 2020 battery.
