Hey y’all - new to the gladiator, although I built out a JKU for years before this.

FIRST, I’ve seen similar posts on this but didn’t find exactly the info I was hoping for: if anyone is in a Mojave on the 2” AEV puck lift on 37’s, what is the height of your rig? (Needing to see if it’ll fit in my garage if I go that direction).

SECOND, I’m already loving the way the Mojave feels and don’t want to lose too much of that. Obviously jumping to 37’s I know it’ll affect things, so I’m actually leaning towards staying stock with 35’s for now. But man tire envy is real when you see a soccer mom driving a rig bigger than yours ? wanting to hear from the 35’ers and 37’ers on your pros and cons

thanks, stoked to be on here!

My rig sits just below 6’5” at the roofline. Clayton 2.5” Overland+ lift with MetalCloak drop brackets on 37” KO2s. Rides as good as stock with a bit more clearance. The drop bracket helped with road driving and I have yet to drag it.

Thanks for the info! Beautiful rig

Basically your shock / tire combo that make it a mojave.... start modifying the lift and the shocks and you get a very expensive sport S.....
That's my understanding, but that's why I'm asking to see if that's been the experience of other Mojave owners. I only know personally one person who went to 35's on stock Mojave and they say it rides the same, thus the reason I'm leaning that way

How tall is your garage opening?

I don’t remember . I measured it , I did have to cut a bracket off that hung a little low for the garage door opener

Okay, so this is somewhat unresponsive to you AEV lift question but hopefully it helps. I have a '21 Mojave as well. Threw on some 37" Mickeys that are right at about 36.5" (28PSI-ish). Ran those for a couple weeks and then measured my height. Last week, just finished a Metal Cloak install, 3.5" Game Changer, including the Pro'lignment brackets. I netted 4.25" of lift. Other than the increase sprung weight of the control arms and a couple other items, my big weight add on is the Arcus front bumper with Warn 10k and Icon Rear bumper. After a week of driving for alignment tweaking, I'm sitting at 4" net lift. So, as of yesterday, I am at 79.5" and I suspect I might settle into the springs a little more as time goes by.

Right on. When you were running the 37 Mickeys before the MC install, were you stock? If so, how did it drive / shift points / etc? OR is that why you went with the game changer haha

Not a mojave, but I had my stock rubicon on 37's while i waited for parts to come in. Drove fine daily driving, no rubbing unless i disconnected the sway bar, then it wanted to rip the fenders off.

One thing to remember is that the suspension tuning is also accounting for the unsprung weight, try to keep the tire+rim similarish to the stock to help preserve ride. I went with warn jackhammers and general grabber atx 37's as the combo was only a couple pounds heavier than the stock rims with the super heavy (for their size) falkens.

for sure - the more I research the more I'm likely sticking with the BFG KM3 35's since they are on the smaller side

Also, as far as garage clearance goes, I previously had a 21 Ram 1500 with a 6" lift and 35's (did not get 6" of lift out of it). It sat at 85". My garage door opening is 82" and it fit no problem. My driveway is inclined up towards my garage opening. So, when I'm diving in, the highest part of the truck (rear cab) is well past the opening by the time the truck was all the way in.

The bumpers and winch went on prior to the 37's. They did add just enough weight to the front that I was consistently hitting the jounce bumpers on a cross traffic roadway transition. Otherwise, it was all stock. The 37's rode, well, okay. I say that only to the degree that my gearing was stock and I had a slight rub (inner fenders) at full turn. As far as gearing, I had a lifted '17 JKUR that I ran for a couple months on 37's with stock 3.73 gears. That was a slug. This JTR with 37's and stock 4.10 is much better. Not great. But much better. It's quite livable for now until I get the gears swapped.

The lift was planned before the purchase of the JT. My only quandary was 35's or 37's. I had a MC GC 3.5" on my '17 JKUR and loved it. My friend, who I sold it to, loves it as well. Since I was familiar with Metal Cloak quality, that's what I went with.
