Hmm. I should probably know the height of my vehicle for when I go to Boston for shows, sporting events, etc.

Houston, Texas knows better than to have low ceiling garages so I never gave it much thought when I lived down there.

edit: measured 6’3”. I think I’ll be good just about anywhere until the 37s go on maybe (currently 35s, 2.5” front level & 1-3/8” rear lift).

Don't try to park at the Prudential Center or any of the attached hotels while you're in Boston, they have a posted clearance of 6' 0". Made that mistake recently while I was running late for a nearby concert. And if you park at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge, that 7' posted clearance is only the top level. Accidentally took out a fluorescent tube there a while back. The sprinkler pipes over the parking spaces at the Copley Marriot are way lower than the posted clearance and will not clear at your current ride height. There are plenty of garages that you'll fit into, just allow time in case you have to go to plan B.

Bottom line, good luck.

One hotel I am staying in is right at 6' the other that I just looked up says 6'4" so this should be a fun trip trying to find parking. I think I will valet park it and let them deal with it, I'll make sure to tell them how tall mine is before they drive off though!

I'm confused because Houston is where I got my truck stolen because of low parking garages. Building is on JFK PKWY down the road from Bush Cont. Airport. Used to be referred to as the "Weatherford Building" if you care to look. And it was the, IMO, lazy HPD who did NOT have the time to meet me for a report. Did NOT have the time to view the video of the theft. LAYZY!!!

That sucks. I always parked outside at Park N Fly on JFK.

My old boss had his custom Honda S2000 stolen from a storage unit Houston. Cops didn’t help him either. Poor guy put well over $30k into that car

Curious how tall is your Gladiator with your current set up measured on the side right between the two doors from ground to hard top. Please elaborate on your set up if you post. I am on Falken wildpeak 37x12.50 on Warn 17 inch wheels and a BDS 3 inch lift. I am currently sitting at 76 inches almost exactly. I’m worried about some parking garages I’ll be going to in the next few months lol.

I’m at 77” - 3.5” lift on BF Goodrich KO 37s.

I’ll measure mine later, but I don’t go near parking garages that are less than 8’. My guess is I’m around 7’ 6”. But I’ll measure later. But I have cross bars making it worse. I’ll of course measure to the top of the hard top though.

Just a few pics showing garage door height @ 81" and I have 3.5" before hitting the weather strip on door. Florida garages are small in height, at least mine is.

measuring further back from the windshield yielded a height of 80". i run 40" maxxis AT, 4.5" teraflex lift and .75" daystars to get rid of ass sag. that sort of thing happens when you're 64.
