Best unknown aspect of the Willys model is D44s front and rear, good upgrade from the Sport.

Yup, easiest way is a Willys Sport has black fenders and a Willys has body colored fenders.

Thats not the case.
The Willy Sport has body color fenders too.

The only way is to look inside, if it has roll up windows its a Willys Sport.
The Willys has power windows (and locks/mirrors)

The tires on it are Firestone Destination M/T2 size 255/75/R17. From what I understand the OEM size tire is a 285/70/R17 so I'll probably go back to that size once these are done.

The 255/75/17 is the stock Willys tire size, most I have seen have the Firestone MTs.
285/70/17 is the Rubicon & Mojave size.
