Structural engineering aside, it does look cool! '98 5.9L without a roof? I'd drive that! Plus those years have so much cladding holding everything together that you don't REALLY need a roof. I am actually surprised he was running doors.

That’s not a 5.9 limited. Source: I owned one. That’s a regular limited

Oh I know that one isn't. I was just saying I'd drive a 5.9 version! I had one too. Were you on the forums back in the day? I did love that pig.

What amazes me now 20 years later is how slow the 5.9 would seem next to so many cars these days.
The 5.9 sounded so good with the right exhaust though.

Yeah, now...but back then it was even more awesome than a Trackhawk now because NO one knew. AWD and pushing more horsepower than most at the time made for some pretty funny stoplights back in the day with the pony car crowd. The 5.9 could launch hard, I had rebuilt performance tranny and a strong torque converter. Honestly still one of my favorite vehicles made and someday I actually hope to come across a clean one to pick up someday still.

Yep, the '98 was the "fastest production SUV in the world" when it first rolled off the line. Today, a base Sport model V6 Wrangler has 40 more horsepower and guys gripe all the time about it not being enough.

OK OK...maybe I'm the only one that enjoys seeing these things but I gotta share!

The Civic is lame but this Madd Maxx rig is wild!

Lol...dude must've been livid when the JT was announced.
Ha, he probably tells his buddies that Jeep used his design as inspiration for the JT :CWL:
