The dual release latches will allow the Gullwing doors to be opened from inside. If you do end up getting a cap sooner than later, and it has the previous generation latches, we will be offering the new latches as a retrofit.

Very nice...I will be interested in those for my EvoA. It has been a great addition to my Gladiator but I have wished for the ability to open from inside.

On my would like to have list... do they come with the lock covers now?

I had mine installed last week and the lock covers were included in a bag, not installed. You have to remove each lock to install them.

Had my SmartCap installed by local Knoxville dealer (Knox Tops) two weeks ago. Ordered on Thursday and it arrived in their store on Friday. They had 18 in their warehouse. Paid $4,000 for the EVO Sport (Retail $4,195) plus $150 for install. I thought it was a great deal.

Love the look and the product. IMHO it's the best topper on the market. Now that RSI is manufacturing them in Texas you can expect delivery in a few days.

I’ve slept inside my RSI cap a few times now mostly turkey hunting and once deer hunting, I leave the rear hatch unlocked and just pull it closed, it just dawned on me that is why they have two options for two or six, I still will need at least four cause I want to open passenger side which is where I sleep.

I'm about to make my purchase of the evoA, compared it to the Alu-cab contour canopy and although contour canopy was cheaper, the lack of installation without rails brought it to just about even, going with solid side doors, I don't need glass sides, in Bc Canada the evoA is a bout $6k without install or load bars which I want.

Any chance there is some kind of veteran discount with Smart Cap, when I go through Cap-it canada?

i have and haven't gotten a response to my email i replied too. the call taker was confused and thought there was damage when it was delivered. theres no damage to the bin or the cab. just the bin seems to sit too low.
