Gladiator Tailgate Lettering

This is a Canadian Launch Edition. This one just arrived at my local dealer in Granite Crystal Metallic. This is the only one I have seen with the word Gladiator on it. Is this a new design? Maybe someone out there knows. The other launch edition they have and all previous Gladiators I have seen here did not have this lettering. Thanks

This is bizarre looking. I checked the US and Canadian Jeep sites and this option is not listed.

Did you get photos of the window sticker? Or ask someone at the dealer about it?

“Glad” that’s not on all of em. I’m guessing it’s aftermarket.

Might have been interesting however to see what the tailgate would have looked like with a stamped/indented “Jeep” rather than stick on letters.

Interesting. It's not on the Window Sticker that I can see. I feel like this is something the dealer added.... I hope that's the case and Jeep hasn't suddenly decided to add this.

It looks like Hauk off road tailgate badge to me. I guess the dealer may have ordered and put on?

Put it on off center. I guess they were trying to center it on the open space between the left side and LE badge. Looks horrible.

It looks a LOT like Hauk, but I see subtle differences.
Corners are radiused on the Grey JT, vs squared-off on this pic of the Hauk letters.
Who knows? Could be an early/late version. Not factory I would wager, tho...
