Lots of luck mine has been in Jessup Maryland since 10/2 and hasn't delivered to Criswell yet on 10/9Hey all, my Gladiator went into KZS status last Wednesday. Should be here to Maryland soon. Can't wait.
Mine has been at the Jessup Maryland staging area since 10/2 still waiting for it to be delivered to Criswell as of today 10/9Update, might be interesting to folks in KZ status.
Mine went into KZ status on 10/3. Dealer looked at shipment status and he thinks it'll be scheduled for the next train that'll arrive at the train yard about 20 miles away on 10/13. He estimated 10 days from arrival before they get it on a car carrier out to his lot. Longer from the build to delivery than I anticipated but I'm glad to understand the process. Thought it might help other folks in KZ pulling their hair out waiting on delivery of their built Gladiators.
As I understand it for the affiliate discounts, you get 1% under and the dealer gets paid 1%. So technically "2%" gets paid by the manufacturer. How much money does the dealer get back when the Tread Lightly Discount is used? example. MSRP is $54K, but 1% below invoice is $50k. How much of that $4k do they get back?
Interesting. Ok. So the theory of them getting paid back to MSRP is not correct. So any further discounting like 3% or 4% below invoice is soley at disrection of the dealer. As I understand it for the affiliate discounts, you get 1% under and the dealer gets paid 1%. There is the MSRP. Which, as the acronym suggests, is the manufacturer's SUGGESTED retail price. Then you have an invoice price. Then there is the employee price. The dealer also has their hold back amount. Play with these numbers as best you can and you can generally arrive a pretty good deal. Mine came out around 11-12% below MSRP if I remember correctly.Interesting. Ok. So the theory of them getting paid back to MSRP is not correct.
