Took the trailer and family up to south lake Tahoe this weekend. I'm pretty close to GCWR with family in the truck. Most of the time my wife and girls will be driving separate so we can bring friends. Plus, I wont have to worry so much about what we bring. I was surprised how well the truck pulls this load. It is very composed, just a little under powered, once we got up to 7000 ft and did a 10 mile 6% climb, to 7700 ft. I am probably going to regear it to 4.56, to take a little stress of the engine and trans, and give it a little more torque on the climbs.
I have two of those camping rugs... bought them from gander/camping world when they were like 50% off. Love them

Yeah, that was the first time we used ours. It’s awesome. Light weight too. This campsite was nice, because it had bark mulch all around it. Kept things really clean.

Barely knew it was back there (2600# dry), did great pulling up to Lake Almanor at 4500' ~13mpg round trip. Definitely need more room (the r-pod was a rental)

I searched, didn’t find a dedicated thread.

We upgraded to the Gladiator from our beloved JKU so we could haul more gear with our Airstream 16 Sport

First trip is this coming weekend to Manistee National Forest, then Oshkosh, then Indy.

I’m sure I’ll have a lot of trailer feedback soon :)

Can I ask what kind of brake controller you're using? Just got a '21 High Altitude and am expecting my 16' Bambi come spring. Thanks in advance!

Reminds me of my old R-Pod. Definitely need more room but the weight was great.
