I have a vague recollection of snow. We used to get it around here pretty consistently starting in Dec. Now we might get a few flurry’s in February. Instead we have 34 degrees and torrential rain. We still get plenty of ice just in time for morning rush hour. Good times?

WHAT? I moved from Virginia back about 2015 and it snowed all the dam time in the winter and stuck around. Was in Virginia Beach. Hell we had more snow days each year than all near 30 years I lived in Colorado.

Currently in Washington and well, what snow? We maybe get one snow a year and usually it is weak. So far none this year, and not holding my breath we will get any.

I’ve lived here my whole life. I agree, we used to. It’s tapered way off and that’s accelerated substantially in the last 5 years. Since 2019 or so we usually don’t get anything substantial unless there’s a polar vortex pushing arctic air south. At the same time I used to start fishing early march. It’s still cold until April now.

With El Niño we should in theory be due for heavy snow this year. So far it’s not gotten below low 40s during the day, and maybe barely below freezing once or twice, at night. That huge east coast winter storm 2 days ago was just rain and wind. Still have a few months though. ?

Here in So Cal we only get snow up in the mountains and the people that go up there are all nuts. I avoid it.

Soon...Soon...

I live in MT. ONLY now are we getting winter. We had 18 inches at the beginning of Nov then nothing, 30s and 40's every day. Unusual. But the last couple days a few inches, nasty roads and the new Gladiator with selec trac full time 4WD and the limited slip have justified my decision to ONLY buy one with them. It is so superior to the Ram trucks with only limited slip...

Soon, soon, can't wait.

Pretty much how its been over here in WA. But we are currently getting pounded, about 4-5ft in the past 4 days up in the mountains, heading up to the deep deep tomorrow!
