Georgia Traverse was fun, but it got a little too slick for the group I was with. We only got about 50 miles in. Tried to clean my windshield before we started in Dalton, didn’t work for me.

It's pretty cold. No snow for me but it's expected.

But this being Texas, the gigantic mostly rural inbred shitshow that shuts down during any freeze because our "leaders" are in the pockets of privatized energy companies and they all get tax-breaks and huge bonuses while we freeze in the dark, I expect we will lose power and go full anarchy any minute now.

So this is the Houston area. Laughable to most of you, I understand that, but for us this is like end of times kind of shit. Snow can fuck off.

As someone who spent the weekend in -7 temps watching 1930s hotrods race around a snow track in a field, I can't relate to your pain in any way.

The snow is nothing. It's the subzero temps that get you. We got over 2 ft of snow total. Some of it has disappeared already. The temps the last few days have been highs of 10F, and lows around -10F. Getting some relief starting Saturday. Suppose to be around 30F for a high.
