GOBI paint match 392 wheels + 35s

I picked up some 392 wheels a while back and painted to match with some Krylon primer/paint. The color is almost spot on from the can. Few coats of color and a few coats of clear. Really happy with how they turned out. Bumped the tires up to 35”.

That’s an amazing difference and looks great! I’m a big fan of the rattle can projects.
might not be a bad idea to ceramic coat the wheels while that brand new paint is fresh.

This is probably a dumb question, but did you paint them with the tires on or off? I'd imagine it would be easier with them off, but then you risk messing the paint up when they mount the tires. Either way, it looks great!

Painted with tires off. Yes, much easier to deal with. Although, with these wheels, having the large flat area where the trim rings mount, will make it much easier to respray or touchup in the future. I appreciate it.

Thank you. I got a really good deal on mine I feel. Just keep an eye out and jump if you see any. I reached out and offered what I thought was a really fair deal and he accepted. I'll probably run these forever and just repaint when needed.
