No worries, I wasn't trying to be pedantic about it.

I havent seen the tire mount. It does look like you can keep the bulk head trail rail though, which would make it the only one you can keep because the side rails have to be removed.

Looking back at the earlier posts, Im attaching an image with the rails highlighted. They stick out ever so slightly into the bed area and may interfere with a larger tire. That'd be my only concern.

I looked briefly at the install for the AEV mount and it does have a hub bracket for mounting that pushes it out some, so it may work.

The real issue would be getting it out of the bed. Youd probably have 1" of clearance so it be easiest to raise the tent and lift the bed panels to get it out, just a little extra work.

The turf is not mine just one from this thread. I should post mine, I just did a danish oil finish on a bam bed in mine, looks pretty nice.

You're welcome, and good luck.

Oh man I skimmed the thread but didn't see that conversation, sorry to rehash. Laying flat just takes up so much space, almost defeats the point in my eyes. As it is I have it hanging from a rack so I can still haul lumber, firewood, etc.

Have you seen the tire mount in person? I haven't. It seems to mount to the cargo rail in the front. It's one of those things where it almost seems like I'd need to roll the dice and see if I can make it work with some maybe minor modifications. I'd be fine spacing it forward a bit if that's even possible with the design of the bracketry.

Thanks for the info!
I have the same issue and actually have an AEV tire mount enroute. I am measuring 41" and my 40" Nitto fits in the space with a little over an inch to spare. I share the concerns about the top rail of the AEV mount interfering, but it looks like is should fit nicely. I will pass on some photos of it installed when it shows up. Here are a couple mock-up photos of fitment with the 40" tire.
