Mostly highway.

Light load, one 500 pound motorcycle.

Any guidance?

Why I ask, I did the same trip some years ago with an Eco-Boom Escape.

Well within the Escapes load capacities.

It was awful, the computer would kick the turbo off, and I was stuck towing with a 2.0 with all kinds of lights flashing.

Me thinks the OVERLORD will do much better.

Thanks folks!

Gorgeous home! It matters not to you in your JT but I pulled a similar setup once in my wife's 2021 CX5 with a 900lb Indian motorcycle on board. I blame it on the Escape.

Thank you Sir!

Me too, the Escape was a fine interim car, but hearing all the issues with engines blowing, I went back to naturally aspirated.

Lucked out finding this lot, and designed the house.

As you're a motorcyclist as well, going down to the Dragon.

None of your business.
I like your wheels. The tires look reasonably sized too. Based on that and the stone building behind you, you likely make good decisions in general, so I think you’ll be fine.

That Escape was turning to dust before your eyes. This is a new towing launch point for you.

Almost 33's, so a lil bigger than the stock size, for the towing reason.

Tire Size Comparison

I pulled an 8' Uhaul from Detroit area to Winterhaven Fl. Hit rain in the Kentucky and Tennessee mountains and had no issues,we sailed right along.I was very happy the way the Gladiator ride and handled.

Keep us posted on how it behaves. I'm looking at a similar setup for 6mt mojave (also 33s) Its a 9hr ride just to get there for me and the last trip I spent jammed up in heat on i75 for an extra few hrs. Ride safe.

You should be fine, especially with the V-Nose. I pull my 2,000lb 4x6 with lots of wind catchers and I have no issues. I'm on 35's, but have the MaxTow 4:10's. Safe travels and have fun!
