They did a nice job. They could add video chapters, and that would help considerably. They're a touch boring, so finding and skipping to the relevant to you part could be helpful.

Portals are a bit more than a "lift", as they also include a regear, and you're lifting from the axles, which of course gets everything, including the differentials higher off the ground. And obviously they change nothing in your steering and suspension geometries.
A really smart way to get a ton more clearance and be able to run bigger tires on stock setups.

Right totally agree...and yes they sell portals of course but I found the explanations of the stock components and animations very informative.

For dudes pounding energy drinks nonstop, they sure talk slow. Had to watch on 1.5x
That was my first thought too and actually went to 2x speed. Much easier to watch.

Would have been a great video if the guy on the right was not in it. Kind of smug.
Extremely unprofessional. I think he was on something the way he was acting.

Goofy thing is that videos explaining suspension of all sorts have been out there for years - and a marketing video is what gets attention.

Portals are a bit more than a "lift", as they also include a regear, and you're lifting from the axles
Can anyone say "monster trucks"? They started out with these smaller versions and kept growing and growing and growing.
The idea has existed in vehicles for 100 years.
The other good thing is - your axles and other parts don't take the extreme abuse, it's shifted to these gear sets.
