The best tip I can give on install is to get a good impact driver. This little dude saved me a bunch of time

Just upgraded my el-cheapo Ryobi drill and driver with a DeWalt set. The 1/2 impact is next.

I’m doing Milwaukee M12 and dewalt 20v. Best of both worlds. IMHO.

I decommissioned my hitachi stuff.

that said I did my lift with wrenches. I didn’t have that dewalt impact at that time. I always buy the tool I need after I needed it.

but I used it for the track bar replacement. It went soooo much easier.

Lol, I used to be like that...I'd always figure "well, I just need to do *this*; I can buy the new tool next time." Now I just buy the tool for the job.

Much to the dismay of my lovely wife!

Using a grinder, ball joint press and some paint. I got the synergy track bar to fit. I think there is enough metal left to do the job.

I’ve gotten questions about this. The synergy instructions were updated to show that axle bracket grinding is needed. Unfortunately their rework instructions wouldn’t work. The interference is on the opposite side.

To use their instructions I’d need to use a ball joint press to move the bushing to move the clearance issue to the other side. In their instructions, the set screw is removed, thus I assume they did that. but the instructions seemed designed to avoid responsibility.

I bought a press to do this, but in the end decided to just fix the trackbar. and honestly, it only took two min with the flap disk and a spray can to fix it. But it would be a lot easier to synergy to fix their track-bar.

also same issues for JL. And no solution from synergy.

I stacked a cheap amazon light bracket on top of my mopar light bracket. I had to drill an cut the cheap bracket to slot the back hole, seems to fit good. And I can just add/remove the extra light and bracket when required.

mine were way worse. I used a flap disc to clean them up before sending it to powder coat. I'm trying to decide where and how to mount some lights to the bumper.

I flap disked a little too. It was hard to keep everything flat. Ended up using an orbital sander.

the jeep worked really good a holisterhills park. No problems with the blue trails. I aired down to 15psi. I didn’t bother with disconnecting the swaybar. I was very surprised. My YJ couldn’t do half of that without a locker.
