Other than the TSB for the steering box, I've not encountered another issue with my Gladiator. I realize that a forum probably exasperates the number of issues we see/hear about, but did Futterman get it right? I've only owned Jeeps and not experienced any reliability issues. Are these normal annoyances? I get overwhelmed just reading what some other forum members experience!!!

Edit: Can we just all agree that Gremlins is, in fact, a Christmas movie as well? Thanks!

The hard top rear window leak issue is growing as more folks realize it's been there without them knowing. I have it, straight from delivery.

No other issues, 2 weeks, 1200 miles.

Gremlins hell I thought they was the features or "Easter eggs". ? All I have owned since my 77 Ford Explorer PU was stolen in 92 has been Jeeps. After buying 3 brand new Jeeps, few used and 2 or 3 beat "almost scrap metal" Jeep's my short list of real problems could fit on less than 1/4 of a 3Ɨ5 index card.... Since 1991 so close to 30 years and about a half million miles driven. FYI I didn't like the change from points and carb engine for EFI and fuel injection.... At first. Now I'm not sure about the CanBus system n computers controllers let alone all the nanny stuff. Of the nanny stuff I like is auto lights but should be taillights if anything.

Sometimes the speakers pop and the screen goes out. Comes back in about 10 seconds. Have to reset clock. Happens on I occasion shortly after starting and leaving the driveway.

Serious issue... I have had two incidents where the collision avoidance activates and locked up the brakes. So now whenever I hear that beeping I have to check my review to make sure I am not going to get hit in the rear. Going to have it checked out once I get services.

I went out to the truck while raining, hopped in the back seat and checked for leaks, dripping. Mine is leaking above the pass through window, as are most. Dripping into the interior. Visible water inside the glass, wet spots on seats. Some have had water collect in the trays beneath.

See "Roof Leak in Back" in the "Issues, Repairs . . ." section of this site.

There maybe some you don't know about or haven't had issue with yet!
I took my 2020 Gladiator in for 2" Mopar lift and asked for them to check for software updates. They found 6 software updates available. 1. PCM module due to essential ā€œblueā€ software update (Warranty) 2. DASC module adaptive cruise concerns I asked about. (Warranty) because adaptive cruise cuts off. The following 4, TCM, ABS, TPM and BCM control modules were not covered under warranty because I haven't had issues with these. $88.00 to have these updated. I was concerned that all were not covered under warranty since they were updates to their software. Per the service manager (Jeep) does not cover or I guess publish software updates unless it an essential "Blue" required update.

Took mine in to get the back window leak fixed. Going on two weeks now with no update on when Jeep or glass manufacturers will be able to provide glass. I was told all allocations are going to new models.

I just recently had an issue where I went to bring up the forward facing camera while pulling into my garage and the option wasn’t available with the display saying I had to have the vehicle in the ā€˜run’ position. Everything in the ā€˜controls’ screen was inaccessible because the truck didn’t think it was in the run position.

for anyone wondering, I had not remote started it, I did the normal push button start.

it was in the run position as I was obviously driving it at the time. I pulled into the garage, shut it off, turned it back and and could access everything normally.

An odd fluke to have but it’s something.

This confuses me, why does FCA charge for updates? My dad just had to pay that for a few on his JK and I was kind of shocked that wasn't something done for free when other service occurs. I mean its fixing issues, not like you are really getting anything for free.
