The @813 Fabrication & Design basket’s molle squares fit Grey Man Tactical’s baking plates. I added some plastic to cover adjacent holes making it impossible to get a tool into the basket to unscrew the butt cup and Santa Cruz lock. The seats lock to the basket, so you’d have to use serious tools to destroy the seat and/or basket. The wiring for the lock is run under the ArmorLite flooring. The electronic release is in the center console where it too can be locked. The key hole (not a handcuff key) to manually open the lock faces down. It’s accessible but would be really difficult to pick upside down and blind. The truck is wide enough for an AR with a can on it. I’m not sure about really long guns, like a sporting clays shotgun.
For that cost I'm good at just locking the rear seat.

The bottoms of the seats on the gladiator don’t lock, only the backs. If you can fit a rifle back there, then that’s definitely a cheaper secured solution. For me, having gear or the dog harness, etc., makes anything behind the seats practically inaccessible. I also didn’t buy the @813 Fabrication & Design basket for this use case. It’s far larger than the OEM under seat basket or storage box. I keep my tools and other stuff locked under there in this basket. I later adapted it to also hold the rifle. I don’t know if I would have bought it just for this, but it’s definitely far superior to any other under seat tool/gear storage solution I’ve seen. I really wanted to love the OEM under seat storage box, but it’s way too small. The lock and butt stock cup is expensive but every locking gun solution is expensive as is every solution Grey Man sells.

I really like how you put everything together! Nice work. I'm glad the storage bin is working for you.

A solid option is a locking overhead gun rack. I’ve seen some folks modify UTV-style roof racks to work in the Gladiator, and they seem to hold up well. If you’re near Burnsville MN gun store, they usually have a decent selection of mounts and racks. Their staff knows a lot about different setups, so they might have good input on what works best for a Gladiator’s interior space.
