Question, for driving on a road like this, do you go with 4H?
I have the select track if it’s not completely covered I run in 4 auto but if completely covered like this I run part time.

I’d run 4 hi on fully covered roads and run 2wd on any that are partial as you can easily shift over if it gets slimy. You don’t want to run 4 hi on dry roads.

We got blasted Monday, snowed for 36 hrs and set records here in East TN. I had 10" as measured on the top of a flat trash can lid. Took couple hours to get it cleared and plowed out.

That was the first 7" - this was the next 7". Record for this month. By the time I got up to the end of the driveway, snow was flying up over the hood it was so high. The drift in front of the garage was over my knees. I pulled so the blade was out of the garage, dropped it, and hit the gas. It stopped at the very end of the driveway as it was more than the truck could push. It simply couldn't go any more. So I backed up a bit, moved over and took on only 3/4 of that pile and shoved it on across the road. I thought I was going to bust something I was pushing so hard, stressing everything, shifting a whole lot, constant steering I'm sure the fluid was hot. I didn't look at transmission temperatures with all of the shifting D to R, R to D. It was being stressed pretty good up the inclines we have and how heavy the snow was. Heavy and wind-packed. ->

It's deceiving because the yard drops off at a good slope away from the driveway on the left/west so the snow is a heck of a lot deeper than it looks.

The Jeep can pile the snow pretty high, but this is about the limit. Running out of places to put it. Worked the JT really hard today plowing my neighbor's drive that goes down to his shop and mine so I can hopefully get an LP delivery for my shop. I had the poor truck buried deep to maneuver and turn around back there and was moving snow up a pretty good incline.

I had it backed into a pile of snow pretty hard to get turned and push another direction.

Is that hard on front suspension components?

Our snow hasn't really shown up yet, but the cold arrived in Montana with a night time temp in Bozeman at -40F (that's not windchill ?). JT started like a champ in -25F in West Yellowstone last weekend!

Not nearly as much as some harsh off-roading.
The biggest stress is springs with the plow up, probably shocks as well.
The plow framework is well-designed and bolts solidly to the sides of the frame rails.
It's a work-out with steering and the back and forth with the transmission.
So I expect some extra wear on steering parts........ but likely not any worse than taking it out through the mud or rocks. I don't get in a hurry, I let the truck tell me when it's done as much as it can do and take another bite or angle.
With the blade full-tilt either left or right, you have to steer into the direction you are trying to push the snow. For example - blade aimed right, trying to shove snow off to the right, the forces try to push the truck back hard to the left so you have to steer right a bit to go straight.
