I have the 1/2” one… it’s a great tool… I’m trying to decide if I need the 3/8 version since it’s on sale too.

My 1/2" only went up to 2 "Ugga-Duggas". This one's a full 4 "Ugga-Duggas"

Thanks for the link! Ordered! I've been looking for a 250 ft lbs torque wrench for a while, but I haven't wanted to spend the money. I have a decent old school beam style one which I use for most things, but it only goes to 150. And I have a small inch lbs. one, but you can never have enough torque wrenches.
Killer Deal!

These are pretty good torque wrenches.
And Husky stuff carries a lifetime warranty too. For these click style torque wrenches, that's definitely not a bad thing. I really wanted just a bigger beam style one. But they seem to only go to 150 nowadays.

Do a YouTube search. There are several videos out there showing the actual accuracy tests. Summer very inconsistent.

Good deal. I just picked up a Lexivon off Amazon. Made pretty easy work of the 190 ft/lbs control arm bolts. Very stout and good leverage.

The 3/8 one doesn't go low enough for a 3/8 for my taste. I have this 1/2 inch one, and got a 5-80 3/8 to pair with it just the other day for oil changes and the like.

Same here, while I have the Husky 3/8" Torque Wrench also, I eventually bought a GearWrench 3/8" one that started at a lower scale.

Just about all clicker torque wrenches are only certified for accuracy within the middle 80% of scale. If one is to buy all three Husky 1/4" 3/8" and 1/2" models, there is some slight coverage gaps if sticking to the 80% rule.

Not fully accurate statement. Most torque wrenches are the same accuracies throughout their range. The best wrenches that are seen for accuracy and durability are CDI, followed closely by Snap-On.

It is, however, good practice to use measuring instruments around the middle of their range. Also, make sure to never drop a torque wrench or use them to break bolts loose, as it can damage them. Most drops from 3 feet will affect the accuracy of them, and depending on the size of the wrench will actually permanently damage them... without any apparent visible damage.

Even the CDI wrench only claims accuracy in the top 80%, and they claim the exact same accuracy. The CDI wrench also says it can be used clockwise or counterclockwise (with slightly less accuracy)
