Diode Dynamics the higher level ones. Very expensive but probably the best all around do everything headlight I’ve seen out there. It’s DIY as well. Just have to plug stuff in and adjust the heights after dark.

I recently purchased a set of “China” lights for my wife’s JK. Now the JK’s are well known for their poor lighting unlike our JT’s but it’s been about a 6 month experiment in progress (no negative clouding on the lenses yet) and she has been delighted from day one. Now she is far from understanding what she has and what their is but I looked at the price differential between the China lights and the American made and I can buy 3 sets of China lights for one US made. If the US made companies thought to make a little less profit they might sell a higher quantity and margins might be a little better for them. Maybe not! Cuz Ima gest aaa mechanic….. 🙄😆

I tried to go OEM but back in 2022 they were hard to find sub $1k...ended up buying Overtread Skyline LED headlights for $500 and they been amazing (OEM look and and the light output matches the OEM LED fog lights). My buddy boight thr DV8 version (I think they are the same headlight as the Overtread) and right now they are 10% off on Quadatec

I got this bundle from lasfit, supposed to be canbus friendly, we'll see when I install them today, but I do have the Tazer to switch to LED's present as well.

Just an OBTW, most aftermarket LED headlights bulbs are not DOT approved and are not street legal. From lasfit website on the kit you bought:

Application:

HID and LED bulbs are street legal in the USA for Fog Light use only. Not compliant with DOT / FMVSS108 and not street legal in the USA for Headlights. Legal for off-road use in Snowmobile and ATV headlights and off-road racing use only auxiliary or forward lighting. International street legality varies by country. For detailed clarification, check street use.

Note: This usage regulation is not unique to Lasfit bulbs. All LED and HID bulbs from all other brands, regardless of marketing claims, are prohibited from street use in halogen headlights in the USA.

DOT/SAE/FVMSS108: NO (NOT STREET LEGAL IN HEADLIGHTS IN USA)

I'd recommend against just sticking LED bulbs in the stock fixtures. Yeah, it'll work, but not optimally. I have a set of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09N79VG65
And I've been pretty happy with them. I've had them for 4+ years and over 75k miles and they've worked flawlessly.

My stock lights leak too... really stinks that a vehicle that is supposed to ford 30" of water has the headlights take on water in the rain!

I know they are not legal, but so is tinting your front windshield, and I see A LOT of Jeeps around here with tinted windshields. Plus, I'm gonna double whammy the legality issue with smoked headlight covers too.😁

Just took the Gladiator out for a night drive after installing the Lasfit bulbs. Man, what a difference. RC quadpods are pretty useless now except for the ones aimed to the side.
