I rented a Camry a few months ago and couldn’t stand it. If it reacted a bit later I would have been fine but it would kick on way to early for my liking. Too each there on.
I use it on my Toyota Sienna and it's great.

Nationwide search on Autotrader for 2023 JTs pulls up quite a few on dealer lots. None of them have ACC. I know it’s available for order on 2023 JTs. But beginning to wonder if it’s the Advanced Safety Package thats holding up my build due to short supply of chips.

I’ve seen some on dealer sites that have it installed. (23s)

The last batches of 22’s on dealer lots though…. Almost exclusively absent.

some are being built now with it included. We’ll justhave to wait and see how it shapes up. Some JL orders have stated they couldn’t get leather interiors!

Does that mean if you were to order a gladiator today, then you would not be able to option it out with the Advanced Safety Group? Or that you can still get the Advanced Safety Group, but they would leave out ACC?

My understanding is you can order the ASG, but the ACC portion would not be installed

Well it is on my build sheet and window sticker so if it arrives without it someone has some explaining to do.

I picked up my new Rubicon JT that I ordered from my dealership one week ago and it has Adaptive Cruise Control.

Same here. And if this no ACC scare is true, I'm just hoping that the only builds that were/are ordered during a specific time period were affected and that the dealerships are fully transparent with those orders. I'd also expect a price drop rather than a price increase for those who get ASG without ACC.

The key is when did you order?

I ordered mine July 14th or 15th. Right when the 2023 orders started. And picked it up Oct 8th.
Wasn't an issue during that period

I'm a big fan of adaptive cruise. I use it constantly on my wife's Volvo, so it was a no brainer when I ordered my Jeep.

But as implemented on the Gladiator it sucks. It primarily fails in this use case:

You are tooling along with a certain following distance set to the car in front of you. Another car moves into the space between the car you are following and you.

My wife's Volvo gradually eases off the gas to gently re-establish the desired following distance.

My Jeep either abruptly lifts all the way off the gas or even applies the brakes to IMMEDIATELY re-establish the desired following distance.

It really sucks and greatly decreases the utility of the system. IMHO its best when driving in heavy traffic, when people are continually moving around from lane to lane. If it can't handle this, then its pretty much useless to me.
