The Generals that many are recommending are $231 each on Wal Mart’s website right now. Free delivery to either the store or your home.
I’ve always had good luck with their mounting and balancing.

I've never been impressed by a Goodyear, BFG has never failed me.

When it comes to tires "You get what you pay for" applies, cheap tires always ended up costing me more in the long run.

Can't go wrong with KO2's, however they are heavy. In 315 they measured around 34.4, if i remember correctly, but on 3:73 gears the truck drove like a dog. I have the GY's in 315's now, they measure 33.5", great for 3:73 gears and a lighter tire. So far so good. I have not had them long enough to chime in on how they are in the snow though. Guess we'll see this winter.

The Territories measure 33.5? Wow, those actually run smaller than the BFGs which usually run smaller.

That's what they measure loaded and at 35 psi. I think they're closer to 34" off the vehicle.

Being that they are probably the lightest tire on that size, the difference from going up in size should be felt less when compared to a Kanati Lead Hog. The 33" I took off the Willys were HEAVY!

My experience is opposite. I've had several sets of Goodyear tires. I keep buying them because they work so well.

My current tires are Goodyear Ultraterrain. I have 43k miles on them and they still have a lot of tread left. And they get great traction on slick roads.

Michelin and BFG are not usually brands I consider. I've bought 2 sets of Michelins and wasn't impressed with either.
