I had 35’s with my Clayton 2.5 RR and it looked fine, but the 37’s I have now make all the difference. Luckily I justified the upgrade by gifting my 35’s to my sons JK. We both win :)

Man, we got the same trunk, same color! This is exactly what am I looking for. 35s looks ok, do you think you can send me more pictures of 35s? I actually just got a set of 315s because I didn’t plan to lift before. But I changed my mind. I don’t know man, should I get Clayton 1.5 inch lift instead? I was told by Clayton that 1.5 inch kit is actually measured around 2 inch. What made you upgrade to 37s? Beside the RR kit, what other components you added? I should probably follow your build lol.

Not a Rubicon. Mopar lift with an inch puck up front to level the rig. I have 315/70/17 KO2s. It looks perfect to me. I hope this helps.

Damn it actually looks good. Is your Mojave still 1 inch taller than my Rubi after the Clayton lift? Could you send me more pics of your rig? Thank you!

I came from the JKUR world and knew from experience buying a tire size and regretting not getting what I really wanted. It really depends on what you want to do with your Jeep I guess. I liked my 315 Toyo MT on my JKUR. Seemed perfect. The Gladiator is so long and the Rubi wheel wells are so open that I knew eventually, I would go 37 once I got the Clayton lift on. I believe I got 3+”from the lift IIRC. Love the ride, and haven’t done the full control arm kit yet to make it an Overland kit.

I went with the 37’s because of the buy 3 tires get one free deal from Mopar. DT matched it, and I got an extra 5% off using my no interest for 12 mo DT card.

I looked at the 1.5” lift and thought long and hard about it. But I knew I would eventually want the 37’s so I got the 2.5”. If I was in a spot where I had new 315’s, personally I would go with the 1.5” kit.

I have to say with 37’s, I feel like I’m driving a tank…in a good way :)

To run them correctly there is a whole list of things that will need to be upgraded/replaced. You will be able to run 37’s on the 4.10 gearing, but it will not be optimal. I had a 2010 JKU on 37’s that was regeared to 5.13’s, added 1 ton tierod and draglink, heavy duty ball joints, and wheel spacers (though that was because of the wheels, it isn’t necessary with proper backspacing). I bought the JKU used and already on 37’s, but it was on the stock sport gearing of 3.73 and had a Dana 30 front. I added a Rubicon Dana 44 front and did the regear. Some of these things can be replaced as they wear out, but 37’s will wear things out faster, especially if they are a heavy wheel/tire combo.

Looks great. Been thinking about lifting my Mojave also, but don’t want to do the AEV. What Clayton lift did you go with, also, did you use shock extension? I’ve been thinking about just replacing everything, shocks included. I know, why did you buy a Mojave then. ?

I did the clayton overland 2.5" plus lift. I did use shock extensions. I have since upgraded the shocks to eliminate the extensions and went to 37's

Did adding the puck effect the ride quality at all?

Hi, I don't think it did but I did add the puck at the same time the truck was lifted. The steel bumper and winch did settle down the front perhaps a half-inch. You can feel the weight of all that gear.
