Help with purchase

I am looking to purchase my first Gladiator. Anything I should be looking for when buying used? Any concerns? This one at Carvana has caught my eye and I would love some feedback from you experienced owners.

There are deals everywhere on Gladiators. I just purchased my 2nd Mojave. I had a 2021, and now a 2025. They were taking $12,000 off sticker. If you can make the numbers work, buy a new one. The High Tide is a good package, too.

I picked up my max tow sport freedom edition

Did the Freedom edition really have max tow? You are sure it's not just a tow package?
The Freedom edition has rock rails and a steel bumper, and that's going to cut the payload down a lot, not to mention impact towing.

Yep mine did it wasn't part of the freedom package but it had both I found several with just like mine so it seems to be a pretty common order and the steel bumpers are not that heavy and I bought it for my daily and to maybe tow my car trailer 7k and my a frame camper about 2.5k

Mine came with both packages and I have noticed that a lot of the freedom /Oscar Mike are similarly equipped at least in my neck of the woods

LOL - the steel bumpers are heavy, quite a bit heavier than the plastic skinned bumpers.

You have noticed, how - by the fender flares?
Otherwise you can't really tell by looking.

So you have the build sheet and window sticker showing it has max tow. Not just going by what someone told you it had?

There is a copy of my window sticker and while I didn't get a scale out when I put my winch on and weigh the bumper it really isn't very heavy as this old guy managed to do it by my lonsome and while just my opinion I find the idea that a jeep comes with plastic skinned bumpers kind of silly but I also find 20 inch wheels silly
And yes I can spot the lip on the flares it is kind of like I never noticed how many red 96 Cherokees existed until I bought wife #1 one and then they where everywhere

LOL - yeah, I get that. Here, the Cherokees were either black or red - quite a few red ones. Might see a silver one now and then, but mostly black or red. LOVED THEM.
And yeah, the lip on the flares is a tell.
I like to have a copy of the window sticker of my vehicles and have printed build sheets of each Jeep I've owned going back to the WJs.

The box my first steel bumper came in was marked 80 pounds. (I'm sure that included packaging and all)
I used my gantry crane to pull the bumper off for the snow plow bracket installs on my 2022, and had help with my 2025.

Thanks for all your help guys. I ended up buying a new Gladiator with max tow, premium package, technology and convenience groups.
The only thing I didn't get that I really wanted was LED lights, I am looking into aftermarket solutions now.

Max Tow is different than a tow package.

And then just to make things even more confusing, I have the wide axles and fenders, but no tow package at all. (other than adding the hitch myself)

Kernersville, NC. Super easy. Did everything over text and email. Went in and signed the paperwork and was out in about 15 minutes

Thats why I went with a steel stubby aftermarket bumper literally me or my brother could hold it in place so the other could start the nuts. We had to start them twice cause We forgot the washers . I am just glad I live in a state that allowed me to get away with that. I tried to look it up for weight but was unable but I be of the big country boy corn fed type .
