I am looking to purchase my first Gladiator. Anything I should be looking for when buying used? Any concerns? This one at Carvana has caught my eye and I would love some feedback from you experienced owners.

It doesn't have the Aux Switches inside, also the 110 power converter in the tailgate too. I would keep looking for something in better condition and with all the features you want.

None have it in the tailgate, and the 110v outlets in the side of the bed is an option most can live without.

As far as the auxiliary switches, that may mean it doesn't have a trailer tow package.

They all have power windows now, but there's a thread here mentioning that the 240 comes on all of them.

I have the AC in the back and it's very convenient for running fridge and other tools on the road. If you're going for it get all the options possible.

Yeah, I know all about it - and the drawbacks.

It's very restrictive, it's only 400 watts, and that's pushing it.
Then you have the loss from converting from 12 volts to 110 volts and then back again for use with a refrigerator. Most will run off 12 volts directly. In other words, you use more power from the battery converting it back and forth instead of powering directly from 12 volts.

I put 12v outlets back there, a lot more useful. Can run lights, recharge USB things while camping in the back of the truck, power a cooler and so on without the loss of converting 12 to 110 and then back again to 12 volts for the device being powered.

If I want to run power tools for any reason and they were 110v only, then I 'd run a cord from the back of the console 110v outlet to where-ever I needed that power. I carry an extension cord under the back seat.

I have not yet added this to my 2025 Mojave X but plan on doing it soon.

What I really want is a Sport S with Max Tow, heated leather seats and premium audio but I am finding that impossible to find

This was what I wanted as well. On Saturday I ended up getting a 22 sport s max tow with all the mentioned options besides leather seats. It also came with the led lights package which is cool. I’m learning leathers seats aren’t too expensive so i will probably buy a used set of wrangler or gladiator leather seats in the future.

Good choice - I love mine. The ride isn't harsh. It's similar to other Sports. I think the springs may be different, but a lot of the rating also just comes from other changes in the truck, not just beefing springs.

I picked up my max tow sport freedom edition with 45k on the odometer for 28k there where lots of the options that I wanted in those packages such as leather trimmed heated seats steel bumpers
I mention this as it was a fleet lease return and unmolested in anyway
So I am sure there are more just like it coming of lease
I also know how aggravating itcan be trying to find a max tow as they see a reciver and tell ya its got a tow package

Of your in a very southern area of the US I would steer clear of leather . IMHO

Great! Test drive one. You can always swap springs and shocks cheaper and easier than the wider axles and gears.

Max Tow is different than a tow package.
