So I recently purchased an Android Auto Wireless dongle. I got it from indigogo and it's called AAWireless.

Which makes my android auto wireless. Small box that connects to the USB port for Android Auto and creates the wireless connection. Everything works great....EXCEPT. It stays on when I turn the Jeep off. I've tried the USB port in the console and the one on the dash. The problem with that is that while the Jeep is in my garage it's close enough that my phone stays connected thinking it's connected to Android Auto.

Anyone know if there is anyway to get the USB power to turn off when the Jeep turns off? Or a device that can do that?

They all stay powered and for the the apple CarPlay one my phone always switches to the house wifi after I leave the Jeep so that must have a really strong signal

Built JKUR to an F150 FX4, to my 2022 Mojave!
I'm interested in this. Have you found a solution?

There’s a setting in the AAWireless app to turn it off when it detects the vehicle is off. It’ll ping UConnect until it stops getting a response and then shut down after a pause.

Just found that option the other day! Works great! Thanks for adding it to this post.

Is yours still working. My aawireless is being wonking and won't save the start/stop setting anymore so it auto connects all the time again.
