I think all the tops now jl/jt cater to the aging or uncoordinated, no motor skills jeep buyer that can't remove and install the classic and iconic jeep soft top. At least with the jl you can get their trektop which is very nice and looks great.

I shed a little tear eventime I see a jl or jt with its factory top "folded" down into its pile of scaffolding littering the rear of the jeep.

Hate is a strong word unless we are talking angry grills and things of that ilk. To each their own though.

They most likely could if they used sliders like the YJ used. Although there may not be enough real estate...

I too like the sunrider. I have a garage, so I slide my hardtop and sunrider off onto my park under storage rack when the weather here in Boston will be sunny and warm on the weekend.

I like my sunrider too but would trade it for a top that folds all the way down in a heart beat.
