These things are famously bad, and there's actually several iterations of the instructions with differing errors. Another error is that they picture a Hex head bold "D" in your marked up image, but no hex head bolt is provided - there's 12x Torx bolts in the parts list. Other versions had FWD point to the rear, amongst other mistakes.

Also the Torx are mislabeled F in the second diagram and the hex bolts you mentioned aren't even included but each rail takes 4 torx bolts which equals 12, so they at least got that right.

They did. Unfortunately I have no idea what size or pitch bolt to use since I already installed the nutzerts and the rails.

Yep, my kit didn't have them either. I did have some left over bolts that I ordered to install a soft top brackets on my JKU.
They were m6-1.0 20mm bolts with washers. That being said, I think if I had to order some, I would go 25mm.

I went to my dealership and they gave me two for free, even though I did not buy the rails from them.
