Well I caved and bought one, have had it on for a week. So far I really like it. We have had some hot and humid days 90+ here in MN and I don't feel like the heat is any more or less than the freedom panels. I also don't feel like the noise is any more than the freedom panels, maybe a bit less in my experience but no car wash yet. Definitely less creaking/ squeaking while driving from the top, likely due to the solid piece that goes from side to side vs the freedom panels split.
The only cons really so far is I don't think the matte black matches the black factory top very well but it could be just the 5 year sun fade on my top that is the difference but the texture is also different. Less noticeable next to the factory top than a sunrider though that is for sure. Also the sticker is on there pretty good. I get wanting to brand it but it sticks out like a sore thumb. Ive tried scraping it with a plastic scraper and tried heating it up but no luck so for now I will just ignore it. The alignment of the rain gutters with the factory top is slightly off but I feel like it is something very few would notice.
I don't feel like the weight is that much more than the freedom panels, I meant to weigh it all as it was a concern for some on here but forgot in my excitement when installing it last week. If someone is curious about the weight difference I can always measure it for you. As of right now I don't see a need for a sunshade and though it would be nice to vent out of it somehow it is so far not necessary. My luck in v2.0 they will include that lol.
Driving with the windows down is very similar to the having the freedom panels removed, in my experience not a lot of wind comes in from those as it is mostly from the door windows but you get the light. This product mimics that experience very well and more conveniently imo. Packaged well with no damage in shipping, fit and finish is good but for the price? Only you can decide if it is worth it for you. It checked enough boxes for me to justify the cost.
I appreciate the reviews. For those of us who don't have the Skytop, when you get a chance, can you take some reference pics for the sticker and the difference in matte black in comparison to the factory roof?

We have had a ID4, Mach-E and 3 tesla's with pano roofs and they are HOT AS HELL in California. I am not a fan but it looks cool though.

Absolutely! I will take pics tonight when I get home and will weigh it as well vs the freedom tops because after mentioning it earlier now I am curious.

I have ordered mine a few days ago and it is enroute. I will be putting on some tint before installing it on the truck for this reason.

The difference is not as noticeable in pictures as it is in person and honestly not super noticeable in person either, I just notice it. The sticker itself doesn't bother me as much as the placement of it, while sitting in the drivers seat when I look up its right there. Had it been put on the back side or inside lip and not on the glass it would be better imo. I did measure the weight of the panels in the bag and they came out to 36 lbs and the SKY365 per the website is ~30 lbs so not much difference there.

I'd love this, but it's too much for my cheap a$$.

Its too hot for sunroofs here in Hawaii, but I once did a stupid regretful DIY to my freedom panels that I will never ever do again :CWL:

There's no way I'd have one without DEEP tint here. The UV is crazy in July. Just having the small sunroof on my SX4 generates a lot of heat and it's tinted fairly deep with UV film.
one reason we never order vehicles with a sun roof or glass top is the heat generated inside in the summer.

The haze from the Canadian wild fires keeps the UVs at bay here in MN I suppose. It does have 20% UV Tint installed as well. Heat wise I don't feel like it is any different than the black freedom panels, maybe if you had the insulated headliner installed before it would be more noticeable though.

Do the insulated headliners make that big of a difference? I've been randomly reaching up to feel the interior and it feels like the double wall does a decent job on it's own.

I am just assuming based off reviews online maybe someone who it installed could chime in here? I have debated getting it on the back half of the top just to have it black along with the Sky365 with black now.

That's a really cool idea, looks like a quality unit. I think rigging up a roll-up shade of some kind would probably be needed after enough time, but I don't think that would be crazy difficult (if something doesn't already exist).

Well I jumped and have one coming, sunrider was an option but surf fishing I usually have the 12 and 13 foot rods above, and every time I had my freedom tops off I either lost a cap , got covered in mud and dust or we were yelling to each other driving , and I realized I'm just an old good looking lucky guy who can do what he wants, plus Pat said I could get it!....Jack
