Hood Locks

I installed these today.

Are they sturdy, or just pop open like the ones I posted about today with a little pressure. I wanted mine to lock, but just pulled on them a little bit and the soft metal latch bent and popped open.

It’s almost the same with that model too... but in this case the weakness is the screw!

any issues programming the key?

The locks are not really difficult, but take a little time and patience. Look for instructions and videos for the 82215184 Locking Fuel Cap. The keying process should be very similar. I watched a video I found online and was able to key the fuel cap to match the factory key.

I hope they come out with a trail cam version for the Rubicon- it really is better than the fender latch locks.
