Like a lot of you, I've been working out the numbers on what trailers I can safely tow with my Sport S regular towing truck. I have a good bit of towing experience over roughly 30+ years, but I'm playing it closer on payload with this truck than I have with previous tow vehicles so I want to be right. Plus I like to basically nerd out researching things anyway, and I've spent way too much time with it as usual.
During all of my research which included lots of help from y'all here on the forum (thanks!), I stumbled onto a video that does a decent job explaining all the parts of the towing equation in understandable terms. I don't have any connection whatsoever to the video, nor am I saying that everything in it is correct. However, I think it's the most comprehensive and easy-to-understand explanation of towing limits that I've seen in one place. Enjoy, and what do you think?
