Run it.
In the future be a little more careful picking your lines. :)

I'll clean them up (or cut them off) this winter, but I'm not straightening unless it's affecting control arm movement.

It's just self-clearancing! The buggy guys pay shops a premium on race week for that

... Looks like it gonna need a frame ;)
I was afraid of that. I think you're right. A new frame complete with an emotional support Mojave. They do get lonely.

leave it, chix dig scars, maybe a little rustolium rust restorer (paint matches factory pretty good)
This right here.
This is what I was looking for. I was looking at Mopar touch up paint, but Rustoleum has treated me pretty well on my older vehicles.

Run it.

If you can still get alignments I am *probably* fine. 😂

are you serious?
Only during work hours.

My control arm mount repair experience has been a mallet/pliers and rustoleum on older trucks. I know Jeep's corrosion issue is galvanic for the most part, but I want to make sure it gets repainted and I figured enough people here would have dealt with this kind of rash to have a go to brand for paint and abrasives, and be able to tell me if there would be a point to straightening it before painting in case of future geometry brackets or armor.

Clearly I need to buff it out on high grit sandstone.

In answer to the 2nd question that has yet to be answered: There's no way that lil' scrape did anything to your alignment now or in the future. No need to worry.

As for the aesthetics - if it bothers you then take everyone's advice and just shoot it with whatever rattle can flavor you prefer.

But remember: chicks dig body damage

What I did was to wire brush the area clean. Spray painted it with Rustoleum Rust Converter. Let that cure. Then spray the area with undercoating.

You're find with doing alignments. You just got minor rash.
