How to remove this piece?? Skid plate for front upper control arm mount??

Piece in question circled in white. Bolts circled in green came out with no issues. Bolt circled in red loosened up and now just spins. I can find a way to access the back side where a nut might be.

For orientation, front drivers tire is on left edge of picture.

Looks like it might be behind the factory rail which is easy to remove.
Can you lever it with a trim removal tool or flathead screwdriver to apply pressure behind the bolt?

Took the other side off to try to see how it works. Looks like 4 captive nuts welded to the inside of the frame. Seems like tre one that won't come out probably broke the weld for the nut. What a pain. Only 1,300 miles on this this.

Looks like this piece is called a Tire Deflector Bracket. Had to cut the head off the bolt to get it off. Honestly it seems like a great place for moisture and debris to build up and cause corrosion.

Sounds like the pressed in nut in the frame broke loose. You’ll need the cut the bolt or bolt head, remove tire deflector, and fish out the nut. This happens on skid plate bolt for me and I had to weld up my own hidden nuts, fish them into the frame, and replace the bolts.
